What does your job as a showroom sales consultant entail?
Engaging with contractors/stakeholders on large projects, to ensure both a smooth fitout process and a finished project that delivers our promise of quality.
What do you love about interior design?
There are so many ways you can influence persons behaviour by materiality and space design; and there’s always things to learn about this and there’s so many good people in this field that teach me new things on it every day!
Who are your design icons?
Kelly Wearstler, Caroline Choker, and if I can put in a great Kiwi/European combination of design and craftsmanship – Klaus and Annett Todt from Living Design, Nelson.
What is one of the most interesting projects you’ve worked on?
So many. The small AESOP store in Wellington was a great detailed space to be involved with; Commercial Bay was so varied and we did so many different materials for so many design styles!
What do you love about timber?
It’s an amazing resource with so many uses in our lives – warm to live with, beautiful to look at and able to be resurfaced – rather than removed!
What is your favourite VidaSpace product?
Got to be the Robusta smoked and brushed veneer!
