I completed a Bachelor of Design, majoring in Spatial Design, and minoring in Urban Practices at Auckland University of Technology, which fuelled my life-long passion for interiors. I went on to work for one of New Zealand’s leading commercial furniture companies, before starting my career at VidaSpace.
No two days are the same which I absolutely love. My time is spent assisting clients in our Parnell showroom, working collaboratively with them from the start of their projects through to completion. I also look after the back end of the showroom, managing sampling, scheduling appointments + presentations, and ensuring all elements of the showroom are organised and beautifully presented to provide our clients with a world-class experience.
I love how simple it is to create a beautiful space. Layering colours, textures, lighting, natural materials, vintage pieces, and beautiful furniture, allows a space to be lifted and completely transformed.
I absolutely love the work of Studio McGee. Shae McGee started out renovating their family home in Utah, and now less than 5 years later, have rapidly grown into a nationwide (and internationally recognised) Design + Build studio, with their own homewares and furniture line. Their style is contemporary, yet eclectic with each individual project tailored to the overarching brief of creating a comfortable space complete with luxury, warmth, elegance, and refinement.
I love the warmth and character it brings into a space, and pairs beautifully in both modern and traditional homes. VidaSpace and our international supply partners, place the upmost importance on ethical forestation, which is why I am thrilled we hold both FSC and Cradle to Cradle Certifications.
I am in love with Amazon 260, it is such beautiful light oak in a character grade, and the wide board adds a stunning contemporary element to any space.
