This stunning property in Fulham SW6 was built in the 1860s and offers a rich history and enviable location. Set well back from the road, 9 Walham Grove is a semi-detached house forming part of an elegantly proportioned tree-lined terrace, and is listed as a ‘Building of Local Merit’.
Havwoods worked alongside the designers, Vitruvius & Company, to renovate this outstanding four-story home, offering generous proportions and exceptional design on one of Fulham’s most desirable streets, close to Kensington & Chelsea.
The brief was to create a beautiful home in this sought-after postcode, that would look great and function well. The designer wanted to design a space that felt contemporary but also had warmth to it and, most importantly of all, would stand the test of time both functionally and aesthetically.
Havwoods was able to supply the Largo board from its Henley collection, the Limewashed Spruce board from the Outland collection and the Menton board from its Pureplank collection to provide the ideal solution for this brief.
The Menton and Largo provided a superior, high-performance flooring option for the project, with brushed timber to add character. Meanwhile, the Limewashed Spruce cladding provided the perfect finishing feature, with its reclaimed solid pine, lime-washed wood for the walls.
Beautifully matched with granite worktops, marble tiles, and brass and bronze fittings throughout the home, the flooring has largely contributed towards creating this spectacular space. Now, 9 Walham Grove offers a modern, yet inviting, home that will be enjoyed for years to come.
