When renovating or building a home, we want to create a warm and cosy atmosphere, especially for those colder months. Installing timber flooring is a great way to create a comfortable environment, but how well does timber flooring work with underfloor heating? One of the main concerns when looking at timber flooring over underfloor heating is if the timber will warp or split. These issues occur when the timber is dried out when it is in a heated room. The reduced moisture content causes the timber to shrink, and this can cause crowning or cupping.

On 5th August we started a new tradition, launching our latest event – Cocktails & Canapés – in our Auckland showroom. It was a magical evening, attended by 150 of our wonderful clients, industry partners and friends. We also celebrated the grand opening of SR Interiors who share our premises with their high-end furniture and lighting showroom upstairs in our Parnell space. We would like to thank everyone who joined us in coming together to celebrate our industry and growing business.

The 2020 Best Awards by the Designers Institute of New Zealand were held the evening of Friday 13th November, and we are beyond thrilled to announce that our VidaSpace Wellington Showroom won Silver in the Retail Environments category.
